 Summary:

A time when kings still existed and the soldiers protected them. 

Inese worked on the portrait of the Berton Kingdom's Prince, Enrique on behalf of her teacher. 

10 years later, the royal family declined but the rebel forces are on the hunt for the missing prince. 

"Will your memory get better if I say your life is on the line?"

Nathan Farnese, A rebel force officer and an arrogant man. 

Being the only person who knows the Prince's face, Inese gets arrested by him and is asked to remake the portrait from 10 years ago. 

 In the name of surveillance, Nathan locks up Inese at his mansion.

 As the empty space on the canvas decreases, the gap between them gradually grows narrow...

  Chapter 2: *** "That's all." I answered while sitting upright. The man who was looking at me boldly lowered his gaze as if he lost interest.  He wrote unknown words on a document and asked,  "So it wasn't the royal family who appointed you, but you were simply a substitute of your teacher?"
